Sheena took and passed her MA Certification on 11/17/2022. Since that time Sheena continues to shine. This is an elite award given once a year to only the top 10 MAs in the entire company. For reference on how prestigious this award is, Texas Oncology employs roughly 1,000 MAs. Ada was worried about the child's respiratory status and asked me to evaluate the patient. When I entered the room, the child was in moderate respiratory distress with a borderline low oxygen level. Ada's clinical intuition was impressive — most importantly, I was impressed by her judgement in finding a provider expediently to assess the sick patient.
